The Kingdom of Dragons Part V

In his years searching for the circlet after the dragon smith had lost it, he had thought he'd never be able to find it again. As he had searched the cosmos for it and finally came across Earth, taking the circlet back, he studied it while other dragons searched for him, wishing to have the circlet. The circlet itself had no real power, but the dragon rulers made a name for it and somehow reaching the ears of the dragons from the stars.

Once the dragon smith had understood how, exactly, he managed to create the circlet, it had dawned on him that he could use it to execute more ambitious things. Things like the great structure left behind on the island, awaiting his return to shine.

The only thing stopping her now was time.

The smith went to work, setting up his separately forged creations on the island into one magnificent structure, towering far above him, glowing a silverly white light. The dragon smith admired his work proudly, even though a few final touches were still needed to be made. It still boggled his mind that he had been able to forge with starlight, making the metal glow for ages to come, without ever being taught how to. Discovering it on his own, it was the dragon smith's most closely guarded secret.

The dragon smith continued his work, delicately handling the pieces even though they were made to last.

Finally, after years and years and years, his greatest creation was finished.
